1. Agreement to these terms

The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for your engagement are defined in the proposal, order form, or written agreement we sign with you. If anything in that agreement conflicts with this page, the signed agreement controls.

We may improve, change, or discontinue features of the website at any time without notice.

3. Fees, billing, and cancellation

Prices shown on this website are indicative and may change. Recurring subscriptions bill in advance on the cycle stated in your agreement and continue until cancelled in writing. Unless your agreement says otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Late or failed payments may result in suspension of services until the balance is cleared.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and the content, brand assets, and access we reasonably need to deliver the services. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use any material you supply to us, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping it at scale, or using it for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.

5. Intellectual property

The website, its design, text, graphics, and underlying code are owned by My Business Local or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Ownership of custom deliverables produced for you is set out in your service agreement. Unless stated otherwise there, we retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, frameworks, and know-how, and grant you a licence to use them as part of the delivered work.

6. AI-generated content and third-party services

Some of our services use artificial intelligence and third-party platforms. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed by a human before it is published or relied upon. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

Third-party tools and integrations are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of third-party services.

7. No guarantee of results

Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, budget, offer, and how quickly leads are followed up. Examples, case studies, and figures on this site illustrate past work and are not a promise of comparable results for your business.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Business Local is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Communications and consent

When you submit a form, book a call, or interact with our AI voice or chat agents, you consent to us contacting you about your enquiry by phone, email, or text. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying with an opt-out request or emailing us.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site or services if you breach these terms or your service agreement, or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and payment obligations — will continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Texas, unless your signed agreement provides otherwise.
